Hey hehey (like a black girl would say it!),

So once again it's been a little while, I know. I've actually been really busy. Sean (cousin) came into town about a couple of weeks ago. Right around then I was finishing up classes, and also me and him went down to Puerto Madryn (which is further south in Arg.).

That was a cool trip, but the only bad thing was it was super short. But I got to see whales and elephant seals and a dead penguin (haha so sad) and llamas and other animals. And the whales were so close to the boat it was crazy (its their mating season so they were gettin a little frisky lol!). Anyways, I had to leave after a day or two because the rest of the fam was getting into BA. Sean (the lucky bastard) stayed on and actually dived with the sea lions and got to play with them! Im very jealous!

So ya then Mom, Dad, Tess, Alex, Aunt Lynda, and Lauren all came to visit a little over a week ago. Let me just say my family is effin crazy. Its really supperrr difficult to organize and please 8 people! But overall I think they had a good time. The weather wasnt too cold, and there were even some really nice, sunny days. Also, I got to do some things with them that I hadn't even done yet, so that was real neat.

Then last night my friends and I and Sean all went to this Fuerza Bruta show. Actually it was one of the things that my family really wanted to do, but it was all sold out the entire time they were here (sucks for them haha). Ya so, I can't even begin to explain this show. It was like the creator was on acid when he/she came up with it haha! But it was way sick. All I can say was that it was part dance party, part light/water/acrobatic show, part rave, part acid trip, part story all rolled into one. I know that makes no sense, but you would just have to see the show to know what Im talking bout! Oooo and also during it, I was one of the people chosen from the audience to be "picked on" if you will. This crazy actor man comes up to me and smashes this paper box thing on my head that had all these pieces of paper in it, and hits me on the head with his hands and stuffs my wallet down my shirt...I was molested hahahaha. Yes, that was the kind of show it was lol. But dont get me wrong it was waaaayyy fun!

O ya and saturday night I met this gorgeous man! Actually I had met him before and even danced with him, but at the time he was just getting out of a relationship and all this stupid shit. Anyways, ya all I can say is that he is a great specimen and God put a lot of work into him haha. His personality was even cooler than I thought, but still I get the feeling he isn't the sharpest tack ever lol. But whatever, I had fun. This whole last weekend was actually the craziest, silliest weekend. No sleep, alcohol, dancing, and mad friends can do wonders haha. Lots of good times!

Sooo now me and Sean are trying to get outta Argentina to go to Peru! But this is a little difficult, because the flights are pretty effin expensive! I mean the cheapest we can find will cost us bout $470! Thats way much. I cant keep spending this much money haha. Basically right now we dont know what to do. I mean Im going to miss Argentina sooo much, but I really want to see Peru and Colombia. We definitely will, its just a matter of getting there. I guess we'll figure something out!

O ya, also I have been watching a lot of the world cup...or I should say watched. I really enjoyed it. Some of the games were a ton of fun, especially at the bars or down at Plaza San Martin or wherever. The atmosphere is so different down here than in the US for it (obviously). It is such a big deal. And let me tell you the Argentines cant even really talk bout their loss to Germany (what a disgrace lol)!

Hey Everyone just giving a quick shout out,

So how's life back in the good ol' USA?! Down here in buenos aires its been pretty great. Right now I have actually been pretty busy with school (finals time) and Sean, the cuzzz, got here on Wednesday, so Ive been doing stuff with him! And in a week the rest of the family comes too. Its going to be pretty nuts haha.

Next week me and Sean are going down to Puerto Madryn (in Southern Arg.) to see the whales and swim with the sea lions. That should be really cool. Also we've just been working out all the logistics for our jaunt to Peru and Colombia. I really cant wait to go! Its gona be awesome. And Im so glad to be going to the beach in Colombia first before coming home because I am seriously white. I mean even my face make up doesnt really match as well anymore, and that doesnt happen even in the winter in AZ haha! So I will be pretty properly tanned when I get back (or at least thats the plan!).

Hmmmm what else is new?! Idk just living life I guess. Sean is going to go stay in a hostel here soon and it got me thinking...whoa going back to a hostel is going to be weird. Iv gotten used to having my own place.

The weather here has been up and down. Some days its super freezing and others its super nice. I cant get my head wrapped round it! Sometimes still im a little under dressed and people look at me all funny hahaha. But whatever! Soon enough I will be back in blazing heat lol!

Well I hope everything is going well for everyone else! No one seems to comment on my blogs. Granted I dont do a very good job on keeping them updated, but if no one comments it gives me less incentive to write...its a VICIOUS cycle hahahaha! But I will let you know all the good little nuggets of info from the upcoming travels. Oooo spice is nice!!!

Y hello everybody!!!!

Yes, it's been quite awhile since I last updated this lovely little blog of mine. I know! But really since Iguazu I haven't had anything extraordinary to report.

Lets see.... I've just had school, going out, COOKING (yes I said it! I really have been cooking so much more down here and I must say I am real proud of myself lol), umm wat else. Not too much. A lot of my group of friends are starting to leave this month, which is kinda sad.

My love life is just alright. I would like to go on a really nice date though. I mean there are definitely guys at the clubs and bars and what not, but I havent found one that i really wan2 see outside of there. It still doesn't help that im not fluent in spanish.

Ooo there was this one gorgeous guy last weekend who i was like daaaammmnnn. But he had "separated from his gf but still lived with her" whatever the eff that means haha! Some bullshit is what i call it! (And to be honest Im not sure if behind that wonderful face there was much going on lol!) And there was this other guy that I met that same night, who said he was from Florida but his english wasnt fluent. So idk, but anyways he kept calling me "baby" all the effin time! And I absolutely hate that! I think at one point, when I was talking to another guy, he said something to the effect of, "Don't go straying on me baby." Sooooooooo soooo sooo nasty! I mean come on, really?! Who the eff does that work on?! But anyways, ya guys shmuys. I don't need em lol!

Well thats all I got for now! My cuz Sean will be here real soon, and then the rest of the fam. Im pretty stoked for that!!! But anyways, keep in touch everyone.

Okkkkk everyone Im back.......from IGUAZU!

So Iguazu is on the very tip of Argentina that shares a border with Brazil (and I think Paraguay is pretty close too). A nice 17 or so hour bus ride woohoo! Anyways its this tourist attraction because it has these amazing waterfalls in the middle of the jungle. The town itself isn't much to brag bout, but the waterfalls and scenery are gorgeous.

I went with my two girlfriends (yes, I know, I actually do have some girlfriends here haha) Lisa and Zoe. We went on an overnight bus on Friday and got there bout mid-Saturday. The rest of that day we didnt do too much, just walked round the town.

But Saturday night was funny. So we had these two Australians (of Asian descent) and a Canadian (Montreal) in our room with us. They were real cool and funny, and we sat with them at dinner in the hostel. The dinner was this asado with a salad bar and shit...it was pretty good but thats not the point lol. Also the dinner included a Brazilian dance show. Let me tell ya the show was somethin else. All three performers were black Brazilian...1 guy and 2 girls. The girls were in these costumes that looked like they were out of carnival or something. They just had sequinsy things covering their nipples, a flashy thong thing, high heels, lots of makeup, and head pieces. The guy just wore a sequins shirt and pants. But the girls grinded and ass shook and basically gave free lap dances to some guys from the audience. It was definitely some hard core sex dancing! The guy (which always came over to me and chose me for everything lol) had girls come up and learn different dance moves. Overall it was the old, guys get a nice little show while the girls in the audience had to have a workout...hardly fair haha. Then everyone got up and followed the performers through all these different dancy things. I cant even begin to explain this show well at all...let me just say it wasnt exactly what we were thinking haha. My friends and I were like wtf?! Lol.

Then after that we just hung out at the hostel with the guys from our room and played drinking games for awhile, nothin too crazy. But then these 2 other guys come over a lot later and ask if they could join us. We said ya, and they asked what game did we want to play. Lisa said "O I don't know if I know anymore drinking games, we've been playing for a long time." And one of the guys answered, "You've played all the drinking games you know and your still not drunk...it's because your with asians." And he said it really quietly too, so that I didn't even hear him at first. But Peter (one of the asian australians) did and was like, "Wait what did you say?!" And the guy actually repeated it! What an idiot! So Peter smacked him across the face and got up and wanted to beat the shit outta the guy. I mean I can't blame him...who says shit like that?! It was super rude and just stupid (4 one thing "asians not being able to drink" isnt even a stereotype that I know of)! I dont know if the guy meant it as a racist comment, but idk what other conclusion could be drawn from it. But then the other guys got in between and no one actually ended up fighting, although for like an hour after Peter still wanted to go haha. And when Ken (the other asian australian) reached across the rickety table to hold Peter back, all the beer bottles were knocked over and shattered and made a huge mess. So it was quite a night let me tell you!!!! (P.S. Peter was pretty cute lol!)

Ok now on to the main reason for our trip...the waterfalls. So we got up early the next morning and got to the park by like 10 or 1030. All 3 of us were wearing shorts, tank top or tshirt, and a light jacket. They brought their swim suits with them and extra clothes, but I just wore my bikini underneath. Anyways, the day was rainy and gray and cold....and FREEZING! I mean I dont think it gets that cold there since its more tropical, and if the sun had been out it would have been a nice day, but with the rain and shit we were soooooooooo cold.

And of course the 1st thing we do is go on this adventure tour thing. It was part jeep tour through the jungle and part boat ride up to the falls. The jeep ride was cool but it was just so cold. Then on the boat ride, which they warned us was gona be like a shower haha, I stripped down to my bikini top and shorts so I could keep my other clothes "drier." They were these power boats that we took up the river, through these rapids, and up to the falls. Then after all the pics were taken, the driver drove us up suuuppperrr close to the falls. I mean this wouldnt fly at nigara falls where there would be a lawsuit just waiting to happen. We literally got so close that spray and water were flying everywhere and I couldnt even keep my eyes open. But it was a blast! We all loved it so much. We went up real close four times (2x's for each area of waterfall). O let me explain that...there were three main waterfall areas with other smaller ones all over the place. And they were GINORMOUS! These are some massive waterfalls, but they were awesome.

The rest of the day (after we dried off as much as possible and warmed up as much as possible even though that was never really accomplished) we walked around the rest of the park, saw all the different waterfalls, the jungle, ate lunch, went on these trains that reminded us of the trains in disneyland lol, and basically had a good time. It was such an incredible sight. I have pics, but they dont even begin to do justice to them. Mom, you really would have loved them! Then at the very end, when Zoe had almost given up hope, we saw tucans (she had been wanting to see them all day haha)! She was so excited and they were pretty cool. O and there were all these coatis all over the place and they tried to always steal your food (well they are a relative of the racoon lol). So despite the cold, it was a fantastic day.

Then we went back to the hostel, changed, ate, and went back on the bus Sunday night. A super quick trip! But really there wasn't too much else to do. But I definitely would like to go back when its sunny and a lil warmer...maybe in spring when things would be blooming!

Anways, there is one more story to this trip (I know this has been an extremely long post!). Ok, so everyone knows i can be a little messy when i eat sometimes haha. So Lisa and Zoe figured this out, and after the dinner they served on the bus I stand up to shake off the crumbs and Lisa asks if I spilled anything this time. Mind you, I still have the tray with the leftovers of the meal that i didnt eat in my hand. (The "main course" had been burgers and fries, if you could call the burger actual meat or one big ball of preservatives as Zoe put it. Suffice to say the food on the buses is not the greatest!) Anyways, so Im standing with the tray, cuz it wouldnt fit properly on my seat, and I shake my blanket, when either there was a bump or the bus lurched or something. And the seperate container that held the burger and fries was a little unsteady on the tray, and basically I fall forward and hit the seat in front of mine and the container of burger and fries spills onto the man in front of me's head!!!!! Ironic, no, that Lisa just asked me 2 seconds before if I had spilled anything?!

Well, this guy was super pissed. I immediately say "Lo siento" and keep on apologizing and picking the fries off his collar and shoulders haha. The man is mumbling in spanish, and throwing (and when i say throwing I mean literally THROWING) the fries onto the aisle floor, where Im bending down and picking them up. I finally sit down, totally embarassed and upset. But while this is happening i hear Zoe and Lisa desperately trying not to laugh, but they cant hold it in very well. So I sit down, and just looking at Zoe was some funny shit. I mean she was so red in the face and gasping for air from trying not to laugh. And come on, it was pretty damn funny! So Im sitting there, tears welling up in my eyes from not laughing...all three of us literally couldnt look at each other for a long time or we would have burst out! I was just sitting there praying the guy wouldnt turn around or see my reflection in the window (cuz I could see him) and see me basically laughing. Then the guy stands up to wipe off all the rest of the crumbs and turns around and says (in his bad english) "Thank you." with his hands spread out, indicating "look what you've done you stupid bitch" haha! The guy was mad enough to say it in english! I just sit there looking up at him and say, "Im sorry" back in english hahahahaha! I mean what did he expect me to do...it was an accident! But it was so effin hilarious. And of course the three of us couldnt talk bout it till today, cuz the guy was sittin in front of me. But Zoe said it might have been one of the funniest things she has ever seen! O what a classic Nicole thing to do...there you have it folks!

Yep, well thats all for now! O and Im posting pictures (ya I remembered my camera this time), but dont judge my hair from these pics cuz it looks horrible (well it was rained on and soaked and had a hoodie on it all day)! And p.s. Zoe is the one with the red hair and Lisa is obviously the other girl.

O and fyi another change...no piercin on the lip anymore. Not that it lasted long anyways, but I was in the club and I don't know exactly how it fell out (possibly could have somethin to do with the guy i was makin out with haha) but ya it just disappeared! The rest of that night I lost it was pretty funny but i wont go into details now (im too lazy to type haha).

Its almost completely healed by now, which is awesome. O the miracle of skin haha! But ya just lettin ya know.

Ooooooooo I forgot to tell ya...my hair is effin short again. I cut it a week ago. Really i didnt go in there lookin to cut it all off but it happened. I was thinkin o ya ill take a little length off cuz some of it was dead and wat not. I was thinkin a long bob or somethin and keepin it at shoulder length or a lil longer. So of course there was a slight language boundary and they were like o what bout a bob and i was like ya i was actually thinkin that, but i dont want it too short.

So then the guy who cut my hair went to work and the first thing he did was cut the back layers super short...like above the chin level. And i was like o damn well there goes all my hair haha. But whatev, its pretty cute and it will grow back. And even tho for so long i had real short hair it was still pretty shocking. I dont think its been this short since high school lol. But ya so there you have it folks, short hair nicole!

O but im still bright blonde haha. No worries cuz i no u were freakin out lol!

Doin great, just livin life in good ol buenos aires. Its kinda weird cuz I still kinda feel like I should be doin and seein new "touristy" things all the time, but Im actually livin here haha. Im livin just like I would at home (ok with a few exceptions but basically the same).

Speakin of livin it up down here, did u know i am on a boondoggle?! I am officially a boondoggler hahahahaha!!!!!! Thats what my dad said to me the other night and i was like wat the F is a boondoggle dad lol...i had never heard of the word in my life. Well I guess its usually when people go on "business trips" but actually just golf and drink and use the word business trip as an excuse to have a good time. I said I havent golfed once since bein down here but I supposedly this trip still fits in that category, since Im supposedly goin out a lot and not super "focused on my studies" hahaha. My parents assume the worst of me lol (cuz my studies ALWAYS come first hahahaha)! But I like that word mucho and am damn proud to be a boondoggler! So sweet tits.

Anyways a lil shout out to danielle, "Will milk be made available?!" "If he gets up, we'll all get up, itll be anarchy!" Hahaha, thanx man for the comment (ps I havent watched that movie in a long time...im ready for a lil bc in my life!).

Okkkkkkkk I know its been a million years since I wrote! Its just everytime I think about it I dont want to and then the more time that goes on, the more stuff piles up and I feel overwhelmed with the amount of info I have to share haha. Stupid I no! But I was doing good there for awhile so Ill give myself credit for that!

Anyways, Ill back it up a bit. Mendoza was great! I did a ton of outdoor activities, like rafting, ziplining, wine bike tour, high mountain tour through the andes. Lots of fun! And the wine is pretty awesome!

So that was a couple or few weeks ago (whenever Easter was?). Since then I have just been back in BA living life. O ya I moved into an apartment, which is excellent! Its pretty nice, not quite in the area i wanted, but our "contract" is only for 2 months. So if I find something I like a lot better, then I can move for the remainder of the time.

What else have I been doing? Hmm, well going out a lot and consequently sleeping a lot too (idk I might be sleeping even more than normal which is weird!). School is going ok, except they cancelled my spanish class, because there were "not enough people" which is BULLSHIT! We had already been in the class for a month, and the only other options I had were either a class in the morning on wed and fri or go take a spanish class somewhere else! Effin ridiculous! Our spanish teacher, this super sweet older lady, was really mad and tried to help us out. But basically what ended up happening is that I moved up a level, but the class is still wed and fri (except in the afternoon again). Im really mad about it, because b4 i only had class from tue through thurs, and now I have one on fri! Probably most of the time Im going to skip it, because I feel they had no right to do that haha (mom dont get too mad at that!).

Anyways, nothing too much else exciting has happened. No latin lover yet (even though there are plenty of candidates haha). O and may I say, most of the guy hair cuts here are apalling!!!!! I mean really, they think mullets and rat tails are still (if they ever really were) fashionable! It is actually really appalling. Everytime I see one, which is often, I want to take scissors right then and give em a new hair cut hahaha! I no sorta mean, but its the truth. Someone should really say something haha!

Ok well Im going to go for now. I love you guys and really cant wait to c ya again! Please comment on my posts for the millionth time...I dont wana have to ask again haha!

hey y'all haha!

Just wanted to let u no Im goin to Mendoza this weekend (well Wednesday night)! Its a province in Argentina thats known for its wine. There are supposedly wine bike tours, as well as white water rafting, horseback riding, hikin in the andes, etc. Im super stoked.

I cant believe its already April and iv been here a month and a half...im trippin its flyin lol! But i still havent got a place. Iv literally looked at like 13 places. I think im just bein too picky haha. But 1 of these days it will actually happen lol.

Anyways, otherwise iv just been livin life. Nothin too crazy. I need more argentine friends cuz all the people from the hostels end up leavin (and usually dont speak spanish haha or at least my friends)!

Waaaasss up wasss up wassss up?!

So what have I been up to lately? Mmm not too much. School is going alright (its school but whatev) but I dont effin get my history course haha. I try to listen but after awhile i get bored and start doodling and zoning out lol. Im gona have to get the notes from this one girl in my class cuz my notes suck!

Anyways besides school...iv been hanging out, eating, reading a lot. I actually stayed in on friday AND saturday night reading. I felt a little like a loser tho haha. O ya and I thought I had this tight apartment in Palermo (one of the barrios) and so I gave up another one i liked but it wasnt in as convenient an area. Then the guy from the Palermo apartment told me he gave it to this other girl cuz she was stayin for a whole year. I was suuuuuuuper bummed! Im sick of being in a hostel haha.

So these 2 guys who work at the hostel are absolutely crazy haha. I really think theyre on somethin mayb coke or somethin cuz they go out literally everynight and always have so much energy haha. Like i dont understand lol! And what makes it even better is theyre both small and look like the same! We call them the hobbits...Frodo and Sam hahahaha! But ya I went with them and some other people from the hostel to this one hostel to a night club and they were hilarious. Now they always want me to come out. And yesterday Alejandro (Frodo) said Sundays are a day to stay in and watch movies and eat chocolate and have sex haha. Then he asked me to do that with him lol, but he told me we didnt have to have sex "we'll c" he said lol. O what a crazy bastard. Guys here are super forward it cracks me up.

Oooo ya and that same night at the club that i was talkin bout was the 1st legit legit time that a girl tried to pick me up! It was this tom boy norwegian girl. She asked me if I had a boyfriend and if I liked girls. I said no, sorry and she was like so I have no chance? And I was like nope lo siento hahaha! Then she told me I was beautiful...and i was like uhhh thanks damn i guess lol! Funny shit.

O and also my phone got stolen on Saturday. What a bitch! Like it was this piece of shit phone that u had to pay as u go, so it definitely wasnt worth much. It just made things super annoyin for me! What bastards. But i got a new one today so thats good.

Ok guys I know its been a few days so here goes...

So school has been ok. Ive only had my spanish and church and state class. My history course (the one im a little scared of) starts this tues. Besides that what have i been doin hmm?

Well on wed night I went to a tango show. It was so cool i really enjoyed it. Now i wana take either a class or private lessons of tango haha. Its such a sexy dance! I went with Paul. Later that night he kinda made moves but i dont think it was quite a date even tho he did haha.

Oooo ya and then the last 2 nights iv been hanging out with Matias. I met him for some beers on thurs. I cant effin believe its been FIVE YEARS since iv seen him. I no some of u dont know matias but he lived with vince for a year during high school and its so good to see him now. So after the beers we met up with vic and went to matias' apt (seeing his apt makes me really wana have one of my own haha). Then we went to a friend of his place then a club. The club was real huge and packed. All of matias friends are pretty cool! then after the club back to the juan manuels place and played drinking games! I didnt get back to the hostel till bout 8:30 lol!

Yesterday me and vic met up with this girl zoey from australia that we met in uruguay. Shes way nice. I think vic and her are going to get an apt together cuz theyre here for bout the same time. Then later we hung out again with Matias and friends at apts and 2 different clubs. I have to say iv been talkin to a lot guys at these clubs haha. Supposedly this guy wants 2 take me to dinner on thursday to this arabic restaurant (which sounds so bomb cuz the food variety hasnt been too much since being here) but idk if i wana go with him lol! And p.s. all these convos r in spanish so im pretty effin proud haha! But anyways ya me and vic ended up at a pizza place at bout 6 or 7 so it was a slightly earlier night lol.

Tonight i think i might go to this party with Agus, who is my "pal" from la UCA (my university). A pal is kinda someone who is from here at the university who supposed to show u around and help ya out and shit but i havent met him yet haha. So well c bout tonight...

So much goin out, not enough sleep haha. But today im makin some apt rounds and callin people. I need my own space pronto!

Wassss up fools?!

First I just wana say that Im fine, i didnt feel anything from the earthquake haha. So rest assured!

But you should all be super jealous cuz Im at this amazing beach town Punta del este. Its so beautiful. I guess its an internationally famous beach but I didnt know anything bout it till i got to Buenos Aires. The only bad thing is the mosquitos. Me and Vic got lost yesterday looking for our hostel and walked for seriously like 45 mins and when I would look down there would be like 5 mosquitos biting me in like a inch radius. and i was sweating and had my bags. it was effin horrible! I was almost about to flip my shit at that point. but once we got to the beach everything was worth it haha. Last night was pretty fun too at the bars and clubs. Today i was out at the beach all day and now im seriously so burnt. I think it will be ok in the next day or two but usually i dont get burnt like this so it really sucks haha. But of course i mite go out tomorrow cuz i cant pass up the chance.

So school starts for me on tuesday. I have a history of argentina course, a class about the church and the state, and a spanish class. and all in spanish. Im a little worried for my history course cuz its for third year students and the vocab may be way over my head. But well c. i have time to drop the class and get an easier one lol.

Ok thats all for now. Im missing a few days but im tired of writing so PEACe haha!

Anyways, the last couple days I havent been doing too terribly much! Ive gone out and walked around, sun tanned at the Plaza San Martin, trying to find an apartment, and of course going out at night haha.

Last night I went out to a super nice steak dinner with this guy Paul from Ireland. Hes a funny kid! And we shared the bigggggggest rib eye I have ever seen! It was insane man. They dont eff (Im not saying the f word for my moms sake shes pretty pg...I love ya mom! haha) around here! Then Vic met up with us and we went out around Palermo. Plaza Serrano is filled with cool bars and clubs, but here they sit down at bars a lot more than we do in the US. This really annoys Vic haha! But ya its harder to mingle.

Hmmm wat else is goin on?! I start school on Tuesday. I have a pretty sick schedule (I dont remember if I already told ya bout it but o well I will again if I have). I only have school tues-thurs, so always 4 day weekends! And tues and wed I start at 2 pm and only thurs do I have to get up early. Effin awesome! Im a little nervous though. I dont really know what to expect from it or if it will be way difficult! Well c. I would like to be settled b4 school starts but it looks like that wont happen. Mmk I think thats all for now.

Hola...

So La Bomba was cool but different than what I thought. It actually only lasted from 8-10 pm. It was an open air drum concert, which was sick but we waited in line 4 like 45 mins for beer it was insane. Anyways, people were just listening and dancing and it was packed!

Then we took this like random bus just for our hostel home which turned out to be like a party bus with music and drinking and shouting lol. It was real fun. Then everyone went back to the bar at the hostel and partied there. I was with some Australians and an Irishman haha. It was a good but longgg night!

Yesterday, I didnt do too much but I met up with Maria again for a couple beers just to chill. She said she might have some contacts for my apt.

Last night we went out to a late dinner at the "pirate bar" haha. It had a ship on the side of the building and everything. I was with those same guys and Vic. And they loved to make fun of me, givin me tons of shit lol. But the Australian named Bob is hilarious (well he has the name bob so of course he is!). Then we went over to an irish bar where they were playing live like blues music. It was way cool. Then we came back to the hostel and watched bruno (which is pretty lame!). But me and the Australian named Tim were kinda cutsie ahaha. Good times.

Wassssssss up?! Just wanted to say hello everyone. The computers at this hostel kick you off after 20 mins so I dont have much time left but Ill definitely update you on the last few days next time.

But tonight Im going to this huge party called La Bomba del tiempo. You can look it up on youtube i guess there are videos. Buts its like these three combined street parties with tons of people and drums and stuff. Supposedly it goes from 7 pm to 7 am haha. Well c if I can last that long. I mean I know I have good tolerance but shit lol!

O and I think Im goin to the beach in Uruguay this weekend. Im effin STOKED! I cant wait for the beach.

P.S. I got new hair appliances yesterday, so the crisis is avoided haha (but it cost so much money man!). AND im bout to go running right now. That, for everyone who doesnt know me, means Im desperate to work out cuz I absolutely HATE running. It probably wont go over very well but whatever!

Heeeeeyyyy Guys

Ok so I havent been on in a couple days I know. When was the last time I said what i was up to? Umm I think like Sunday or Monday right? Well shooooot its been a bit eh haha?!

Well I went to orientation Monday through Thursday in the mornings (which sucked cuz it was too early for me haha ok i only had to get up at 830 but still lol) and I got my class schedule worked out. I only have class Tues-Thurs, so I have a 4 day weekend to travel. YES! But Im taking a 3rd year history course which Im a little worried bout. But they have a long add/drop period so if I think i wont be able to do well then ill drop it and get an easier class.

Besides that Iv just been chillin mainly with Vic. We´ve gone out basically everyday to either dinner or walking around the city or whatever. Its been chill. Right now were trying to figure out our trip planning! So exciting I cant wait to go! But one of the days as part of the orientation we went to an "asado" which is like a bbq at a different part of the campus. It was real good, but then we had to get back home on our own so I stuck with Kunal (this kid from U of A) who is super smart and seems to know everything haha. But ya we toured more of the city.

O and i forgot...I hung out one afternoon with Maria, this girl who lives in Buenos Aires who my moms friends friend knows or something (its complicated haha). But ya its nice to have a local to show you around!

Anyways, last night me and vic went to a pub crawl. Theyre pretty cool but lots of tourists haha. And of course i wore high heels so I was effin tall lol! Yes people commented on it in multiple languages haha!

Ok well Ill go into more detail later. I need to recover my phone cuz vic has it haha!

o p.s.- still havent figured out my hair appliance situation or my living situation. Im such a slacker haha!

oooooooo and i forgot to say...FUCKING POST BACK YO!

Ok so I just wanted to let everyone know how big a pain in the ass converting electricity is!!! I havent been able to do my hair the whole time Ive been here cuz I dont have an adaptor that will convert enough energy for my hair dryer and straightener. And you no i just got my hair did and it looks way cute when done damn it! Soon Im just gona have to buy new ones cuz this is getting ridiculous haha. But ya thats that haha. Today was a long ass day. Ill right bout it later.

p.s. I know I said I would put up pics and I should cuz Ive seen some pretty cool things but ive actually only taken one pic hahaha! Ya I blow at it lol! Sorry all!

Ok so I´ve already been informed that I suck at this, which Im sure comes as no surprise to anyone haha! But in the last few days this is what Ive been up to...

Friday: In the night me and Vic went out for a BOMB steak dinner with all the works which only cost bout like $40 or something stupid like that (for both of us that is). Awesome! I love how cheap food is! Then we went to a bar and hung out for the rest of the night.

Saturday: I was just a lil hung over so I didnt even know if I was gona do anything but Vic called and we went out to La Boca with some of these english blokes and a german girl from his hostel haha! La boca is this really artsy area of town with colorful buildings and murals and tango in the streets and shops etc. It was real cool and we all had a great lunch together. Luke, the english guy, is fucking funny (goofy ass motha!) That night we all went out to Palermo, which is a district in the city known for its bars and clubs. We just went to the bars that night but I cant wait to go to the clubs too.

So its crazy here. Everything goes later like you dont go to the clubs till like 3 or so and stay out all night basically. Christie this is yours and mine city hahaha!!! But ya i better get a good class schedule that isnt too early in the morning lol!

Sunday: Vic and me went to this HUGe market in San Telmo thats only open on Sundays. Its just a street market with all these stalls and musicians and tons of people. It was tite we walked around all day. Then we made a nice pasta dinner at Vic´s hostel with the other english and german people. That hostel has an awesome terrace bar and hang out area on top of the building overlooking the city that we chilled on forever last night I kinda wana switch to his hostel, its also real homey!

Today: Basically I was at orientation mostly all today. It was ok except for the test which sucked but whatevea. And now I have no fucking clue what Im gona do but I do no Im hungry haha!
